About OCSC

The Omaha Catholic School Consortium (OCSC) is a regional governing entity which operates five Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Omaha located in the south east region of the Omaha metro area.  The OCSC is part of the larger Promise 2020 plan, announced by Archbishop George Lucas in June, 2012, aimed at strengthening the Catholic schools and parishes in the eastern region of the Omaha metro area.  The 2013-2014 school year was the first full school year in which the OCSC will take effect.  Member schools each retain much of their individual identity, while at the same time they unite together in areas that will strengthen them as a whole and coordinate in areas such as curriculum, instruction, assessment, business operations and facility management.

Mission

The Omaha Catholic School Consortium challenges all students to be disciples of Jesus Christ by empowering them to reach their fullest potential through quality academic, spiritual and social experiences.

Guiding Principles

The Omaha Catholic School Consortium will…

  • Provide an excellent community of faith and learning.
  • Nurture Students who will develop a personal relationship with God by witnessing their faith through participation in the sacraments, community worship and service to others.
  • Develop students of character and self-discipline who model personal and social responsibility and display a concern for others.
  • Empower our students to be critical thinkers who are fully prepared to use technology in an ethical way to further their learning.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing educational environment guided by collaborative, professional administrative practices.
