Isaiah’s comment about swords and spears is reversed by Joel – but does that mean that we should take up sword and spear (and gun)? Wait… Paul talks about putting on the armor of light in Romans today, and describes that armor more in Ephesians 6 – it includes the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
